In the last years I have been assembling a series of hardware based sound installations. They produce material for live radio broadcasts during those times where traditionally playlists, repeats or syndicated programmes fill the radio schedule, e.g. at night or during holidays. The sound sources are always mix of electronic, electroacoustic and radio feedback. Here they are archived as online sound installations in form of short loops.

Feedback siesta - stream all

The feedback siesta was a sound installation produced for Clingradio in Zurich. Its live output was broadcast daily between 2am - 10am and 12pm - 2pm on Radio LoRa as part of their Electromagnetic Summer from 16th - 28th July 2007.

Lee De Forest night loops - stream all

The Lee De Forest night loops were a sound installation produced for the AV08 festival in Newcastle. Its live output was broadcast daily between 1am - 8am on two festival fm radio stations from 28th February - 8th March 2008. The third station to carry the installation, NE1FM, was too scared to lose its listeners after playing it for two nights.

The Art's Birthday Filling Station - stream all

The Filling Station was a frequently tweaked sound installation conceived as a backup stream for the annual Art's Birthday radio event. Its live output was broadcast on the 18th January 2009 between 12pm - 12am. Below you can find excerpts taken during those 12 hours.
